Dr. Muridae’s Monster

It wouldn’t be long, before the field mice would storm Muridae’s laboratory and demand the creature’s destruction.

“Tuna…good”, the creature said. It shuffled slowly over to the food bowl and started eating. I was afraid, but felt somehow that the monster meant no harm. After he ate, he sat licking his enormous paws. I wondered if I would live to describe this encounter with anyone. Slowly I picked up my violin and softly began to play.
